Only the Owner of the discord server/guild is able to delete the server/guild.
To delete a server as the owner you will first head to server settings through the server dropdown.
After you are on the server settings page of the server scroll to the very bottom of the left sidebar where the "Delete Server" button is located.
Now click on the "Delete Server" button which will bring up a pop-up confirming you wish to delete the server. To continue press the red "Delete Server" button or press the "Cancel" button to cancel the server deletion.
If you have Two Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled discord will prompt you to enter your 2FA code. After entering your 2FA code the server will be deleted and will not be able to be recovered. If you do not have 2FA enabled the server will be deleted after the confirmation pop-up.
Server Ownership is a very dangerous permission to have. We recommend not transferring server ownership to people you do not fully trust for the security of your server(s).
