Collections

Dashwiz adopts a collections model, enabling users to create multiple collections simultaneously. Each collection comprises various pages; for instance, a "servers" collection includes a default "servers" page. It's important to note that collection types offer unique sets of blocks and pages

Why Collections

Collections are like templates, allowing you to easily switch between various designs with a single click. Each collection can contain multiple templates, each with its own distinct theme, such as a Christmas collection, April Fools collection, or a standard collection.

Collection Types

There are three types of collections: public, servers, and dashboard. Each type behaves differently and offers unique elements and settings.

Public Collections

Public collections have pages that don't require authentication to access, this type of collection starts you of with a couple different pages out of the box.

Landing Page

The landing page is the page people will see if they don't specificly navigate to a page, you don't have to use our landing page template (it's pretty bare bone). You can also choose to select your own landing page in the page settings!

More about the page settings later!

Dashboard Collections

Servers Collections

The servers collection consists of a single behind a authentication layer which can be accessed at https://BOT_ID.dashwiz.dev/servers. A key feature on this page is the "Guild Grid," which displays all the guilds that the user owns and in which the bot is in. This is also the only collection where you can use the "Guild Grid" element.

Note: It won't show the mock data on the public side.

Collection Settings

Each collection has its own settings. You can change the name, description, visibility status, and background color through this modal. By default, collections are published when created.
