# Managing Co-Creators

How to add/remove users from your bot.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Anyone you add to your bot's co-creator list will have access to edit your bot. Make sure you only add people you 100% trust!
{% endhint %}

## Adding a user

First, head over to your bot's co-create page on the BotWiz dashboard.

To invite a user, you need to obtain a user ID, which you need to enable developer mode on Discord to get. To enable developer mode, head over to your Discord settings, and turn on Developer Mode, under the Advanced section.

<figure><img src="https://3071155663-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F3kWzjw3glf7IkiBD8sfd%2Fuploads%2FgsfTpUmXK0CSRTQq3w9n%2FUntitled%20design.png?alt=media&amp;token=9e1dcb7d-6161-4b15-b4ba-f06dc31edad5" alt=""><figcaption><p>Toggle "Developer Mode" on.</p></figcaption></figure>

Right click on a user's profile, and select "Copy User ID" to copy their user ID to your clipboard. If this option does not appear, you have not enabled Developer Mode.

<figure><img src="https://3071155663-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F3kWzjw3glf7IkiBD8sfd%2Fuploads%2FXHiGoa06ZRaJOA8wz9Z1%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=18ed7501-f9da-4bb3-bee6-1275a32b4c30" alt=""><figcaption><p>Select "Copy User ID"</p></figcaption></figure>

Head back to the BotWiz Co-Create page, and paste in the user ID you just copied. It should be a long string of numbers, like shown below.
