# Edit Channel

## General #### Channel Type The channel, you can either use ID or select an existing channel.

#### Channel Name The new name of the channel.

#### Type of channel The type of the channel.

#### Category The category the channel should be switched under Similar to a channels, the categories' have their own id's!

Channel topic & 18+ The channel topic will show as a small "description" of the channel. Using 18+ will only allow users with 18+ Discord accounts to view the following channel.

**Channel position** The position of where the channel will be changed to.

**Channel slow mode** The slow mode which users can send message between certain times in seconds.
