Managing Your Bot Token

Get your Discord Bot token from the Discord Developer Portal and import it to BotWiz.

Do not share your Discord Bot Token with anyone, if you suspect your token has been leaked/stolen, you can reset it on the Discord Developer Portal.

Head to the Discord Developer Portal and click "New Application", or choose from a previous application.

Viewing Your Token

Once your application is created. Go to the Bot on the sidebar.

Regenerating the Token

To see your bot token, you will need to click on Reset Token.

Everytime you click on Reset Token discord regenerates a new bot token for your bot, so if your bot is already registered with botwiz you will need to paste the new token into the dashboard again.

You can view your bot token in the settings page under Data & Security.

Upon clicking the reset button, you will be notified that your bot will stop working until you update the token, click on "Yes, do it!"

If you have 2FA enabled, you will be prompted to enter a 6-digit authentication code, if not you will now be able to see the newly regenerated bot token.

Adding bot tokens to BotWiz

Registering a Bot

To register a Bot to BotWiz you will need to head to https://botwiz.dev/dashboard/bots where you can view all your existing bots and add new ones. Enter your Bot token in the Bot Token section and then click on + Add Bot.

Once you have registered your bot with BotWiz, you will see the bot has been added to your Bot List.

Updating a Bot Token

To Update a bot token on your BotWiz bot, select your bot that you want to update the token for.

Navigate to the settings page, then select the Data & Secuirty subpage.

To edit the bot token, press the Show Token text, and your old token will appear. Remove the old token, and replace it with the new one.

To save the new bot token, press on the 📄Save button.

Make sure to restart your bot to update the new changes you made.
